Overview
AI Calendar helps users turn text, voice recordings, photos, screenshots, and PDF files into calendar events. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and what choices users have.
Information we process
Users may provide event text, voice recordings, camera photos, pasted screenshots, PDF files, target calendar selections, account email addresses, and basic profile information returned by enabled calendar authorizations such as Microsoft, Apple, or Google. We process this information only to transcribe, parse, preview, share, export, and create calendar events requested by the user.
Calendar account access
When Google Calendar linking is enabled, AI Calendar requests delegated Google access only so the user can identify the signed-in Google account, select a target calendar, and create events in calendars they own. Users may also export .ics files or QR codes instead of connecting Google. When a user connects Outlook Calendar or Apple Calendar, AI Calendar similarly requests delegated access so the user can create events in their own calendar. Microsoft access may include sign-in, profile reading, offline access, and calendar read/write permission.
Attachments
Uploaded files are used to extract event information and, when the user asks to create a calendar event with attachments, to attach those files through the selected calendar provider. Google Drive attachment upload is disabled unless Google Drive attachment access is separately enabled and authorized. When importing into Google Calendar through .ics, attachments are not uploaded to Google Drive. Outlook Calendar attachments are sent through Microsoft Graph when supported by Microsoft.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only when needed to provide the product, such as with transcription and parsing services and the calendar provider selected by the user. WeChat sharing first uses the browser or system share sheet; when unavailable, the schedule text is copied to the user clipboard. Email sharing opens a draft in the user mail client. OAuth tokens are stored on the backend and are not exposed to the browser.
Usage analytics
We collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics — such as page views, which features are used, and the general source that referred a visit — to understand how the product is used and improve it. This data does not include your event content and is not personal information: we use a random, anonymous identifier stored in your browser (not a cookie), we do not store your IP address, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking services. These statistics are never sold or shared.
Retention
AI Calendar is designed to avoid long-term storage of original event text and uploaded files unless storage is necessary to complete a user-requested action. Calendar authorization tokens may be retained so users do not need to reconnect their account for every request.
User choices
Users can disconnect calendar accounts in the product interface. Users can also revoke access in their Google Account, Microsoft Account, or Apple Account security settings.
